This 3-hour course is designed to empower play therapists with the knowledge and skills needed to provide effective and inclusive therapy for neurodivergent children. Neurodiversity, the idea that neurological differences are a natural and valuable part of human diversity, is central to this course. Participants will explore the principles of neuroaffirming play therapy, which emphasizes creating a safe, accepting, and individualized therapeutic environment to support the unique needs and strengths of neurodivergent clients.
