The Alaska Behavioral Health Association is governed by a Board comprised of nine Directors from the Association’s membership. Directors serve for three-year staggered terms with annual elections held at the Fall Members’ and Affiliates’ Conference. Any member agency in good standing may nominate a representative from its organization to serve on the Board. Officers are elected by the current Board annually and include President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary.
Board meetings are currently conducted virtually on the fourth Wednesday of each month from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. AKST with one two-day in-person meeting annually.
Outside of Executive Sessions, Association Board meetings are open to Association members and other members of the public. If you would like to join a meeting, please contact Lance Johnson, COO, for connection information.
